About the Community Tutorials category

This category is where you can find and submit your own community tutorials about development on Roblox.

How should I write my tutorials?

Your tutorial must:

  • Be related to Roblox development.
  • Convey a significant amount of information; do not post extremely basic tutorials on topics such as Studio usage (the Developer Hub probably explains it already), or Lua (many basic “learn Lua” topics already exist).
  • Provide instructions; step-by-step instructions should be clear and well-explained. Include images and videos to make your explanation as easy to follow as possible. Remember that not everyone has your particular set of skills.
  • Showcase the final result of following the tutorial.

Use the Community Resources category if your topic does not fit the format of a tutorial.

Who can post here?

  • All forum users can create topics in this category and reply to topics.
  • Everyone can read all the contents in this category, even when not logged in.
