Basics for Textboxes

These are some basics of Textboxes. You can enable all of these under the properties tab.

By default all Roblox textboxes are this

Now simply uncheck the box

And watch as your text will not be removed if you accidentally click off of it.

You may also want to enable Multiline which is automatically set off by default but can be enabled through checking a box in properties.

Overall, these are some basic things that can be enabled to improve user experience. I have seen that a lot of developers don’t have these enabled and that’s why I decided to create this.

Simple tutorial, yet so helpful. I didn’t know some of these, and I will definitely use it in the future :slight_smile:

A side note about MultiLine, you can’t exit the text box by pressing enter so you can’t use it as a form of input without an external button.
