Alright, so there are two two bugs with pressing cmd+z to undo something.
The first bug is really easy to explain and repro, basically when you first open one of your places or a new place, move or edit just one thing and then press cmd+z to undo it you will get this screen and it won’t go away until you immediately press shift+cmd+z to redo what you just did. If you get that screen and then edit something else then you have to ] close and reopen the place (not studio) in order to remove it. I also just found that a “message” object appears in the workspace and you can remove it by deleting that.
NOTE: I also found that if I open a new place, insert my food pack from the western theme, move some of the items around a bit, and then press cmd+z until the model is removed then I get that message. So it appears that it can occur after a little while if you completely return your place to it’s original state using cmd+z to undo everything you just did.
The other bug is a little more annoying where it appears that at least some unions in the workspace only (not in any models or other objects in the workspace) will get selected when you press cmd+z and you can see that this happened in the picture above as well. Here are the steps for how I am able to repro this:
- Open a new blank baseplate
- I inserted my Food Pack from the western theme because it has unions and models in it.
- Move at least one item and then press cmd+z
It should now have undone what you just did but also selected at least one of the unions though it appears that some of the time if it is a union you moved it won’t select another union.
