The reason I think we should stay as we are is so that if we (a good sample size of prominent developers (not that it makes us special) ) have to debate over a feature that almost definitely will be added- instead of having a unorganized pool of feedback from a larger user-base, we have a more concentrated and seasoned debate over those features.
With that logic we might as well stop the war on drugs because someone will sell them anyway.
At least a partial secrecy is good.

That doesn’t stop users from still giving a buttload of feedback that can be quite spammy (not to mention if the features aren’t in the end added, we don’t want a huge userbase adapting their games to features that didn’t turn out to come out for particular problems. i.e if the new characters didn’t come out but tons of players adapted their places before it was announced it wasn’t coming out, lots of people would be mad.)
