“Benchmark Experiences with Similar Players” Showing Irrelevant and Repetitive Games Across All Experiences

As of today, the “Benchmark experiences with similar players” section under the Analytics > Home Recommendations tab has started showing a strange bug. It now displays the exact same, seemingly random set of games across all of my experiences, regardless of CCU, theme, or genre. This list includes games such as “Survive Albert,” “OCFA Hub,” “Deepwoken Outfit Planner,” and others with very low average CCU (~10–100), being incorrectly shown for one of my games that averages 200 CCU — and the same list also appears for a colleagues’ game with 8000+ CCU. None of these titles are relevant in terms of CCU count, let alone thematic style, and co-developers I’ve spoken with have confirmed the same issue is happening to all their experiences as well.

This issue is not isolated to the analytics dashboard. Once this bug began, the same set of recommended experiences began appearing publicly on game pages, especially for experiences with minimal visits like my “Catalog Item Tester” place.

These games clearly have no algorithmic or thematic relation to my experience or others with higher visibility. It seems like a sitewide breakdown in the recommendation logic, possibly affecting discovery performance. Please investigate, as this behavior did not occur prior to today and is now impacting both public game pages and developer analytics.

Hi @bvetterdays can you check again now? There was a config issue that has been resolved.
Appreciate your reporting as usual :sparkling_heart:

Was just about to reply that this was fixed but you beat me to it. All is well now—similar experiences are much more relevant in terms of both CCU and genre. Cheers :beers:
