“Ensuring Fairness in Roblox Enforcement: Addressing Linked Account Ban Issues”

I would like to propose that Roblox take the issue of enforcement bans more seriously and ensure fairness for all users.

Currently, the system that links accounts through IP addresses and email has resulted in multiple accounts being penalized, even though only one original account is frequently responsible for moderation violations. This situation is highly unfair, as other users who are not directly involved are also affected by bans or restrictions.

In light of this, I would like to suggest the following improvements:

  1. Reduce the ban duration for “linked accounts” that are not proven to have committed violations directly.
  2. Consider implementing an “unban wave” for accounts that were unfairly affected by this system.
  3. Take stricter action against the original account responsible for repeated violations, including the possibility of a permanent ban.
  4. Ensure that previously linked email addresses no longer automatically trigger repeated bans on other accounts in the future.

I hope Roblox will carefully review these suggestions to create a more fair, transparent, and just enforcement system that does not negatively impact innocent users.

Thank you for your time and consideration. :cherry_blossom:

wait why did you post this in both Development Discussion AND Help and Feedback

I believe Development Discussion would be the best category (Feature Requests might work too) but please don’t duplicate posts into different categories…

Because of unstable internet, I thought my post didn’t go through, so I tried again in another forum category. My mistake.

Ah, no worries.
Just make sure that you keep posts to one category in future to keep things organised, and also to help group up responses

(It’s much easier to see everyone’s opinions in one thread rather than across multiple ones)

You could also try refreshing the page to see if your post comes up on the forum category page, rather than reposting (newly updated ones, such as recently-replied-to and newly created ones tend to show up first!)
