“View Violation” opens an empty inbox and gives no details (Universe ID: 603512723)

My experience, Murder Mystery Infinite, was hidden for allegedly containing content or metadata similar to existing Roblox content.

When I click “View Violation,” it only opens Roblox Messages. There is no moderation message, affected asset, keyword, thumbnail, description line, or explanation showing what caused the restriction. This happens every time, so I cannot tell what Roblox expects me to fix.

Because no details were provided, I had to guess. I changed parts of the description, removed update wording, and replaced the Home recommendation thumbnails and regular thumbnails. I also removed older thumbnails advertising admin abilities, even though those features exist in the game. Players can unlock abilities such as flying and increased speed, and Hacker is a playable role with teleportation mechanics.

The full “Game not discoverable” warning later disappeared, but the experience still shows reduced exposure across Home, Search, and Charts. There is no indication that my changes were reviewed or what content is still causing the restriction.

Murder Mystery Infinite is independently developed and fully custom-coded, with original roles, abilities, maps, UX/UI, progression, crates, and weapons. A large number of temporary MM2 copies use similar genre terms and role tags, so an original murder-mystery game may have been caught in the same automated similarity checks.

Murder Mystery Duo reportedly had a similar restriction in December and was later restored after the issue was raised on DevForum.

Reproduction steps:

Open the experience Overview page in Creator Hub.

  • Click “View Violation.”
  • Roblox Messages opens.
  • No violation message or affected content is shown.

Expected behavior

“View Violation” should show the exact content or metadata that caused the restriction.

After the affected metadata is changed, Creator Hub should show that the experience is being re-evaluated or provide a way to request a manual Discovery review. The current updated experience should also be manually checked so any remaining reduced-exposure restriction can be removed if it now complies.

Update: I have now removed or changed everything that could reasonably be causing this. I changed the title, rewrote the description into a completely standalone format, replaced the thumbnails, removed update tags, and even removed the social links.

The experience still has reduced exposure across Home, Search, and Charts. “View Violation” still opens an empty inbox, so I still have no way to see what content is supposedly causing the restriction or whether the updated experience has been re-evaluated.

Update: Roblox Appeals replied, but the response did not address the issue or the five follow-up messages where I explicitly asked for a manual re-evaluation.

They only sent a general link about discovery best practices, even though I already changed the title, description, thumbnails, tags, and social links. The broken “View Violation” button still gives no details, and the reduced-exposure flag is still active.

A manual review of the updated experience would likely take only a few minutes, but Support did not confirm that one was performed.
