:bookmark_tabs: License Holder Agreement for Plover Models

  1. You may only use Plover models in a group or game that you own. Plover models given
to you when you purchase a license to use them. Plover trusts that you will not distribute
them to users that do not own a license for that specific product or service. Developers
may not use their own models in games owned by another person. For example, Joshua
owns a license to use Plover Spot. He is hired at Oakwood Medical Center and the owner
asks him to use the model. This is not allowed because the owner of OWMC does not
own a license to the product. Joshua must now transfer his license to the owner of
OWMC, or have the owner purchase one for themselves. Do not sell games or files to
people with Plover models or model media.

  2. You can only transfer a license to someone 3 times a year. Unless your institution is
being bought out by another individual, or enforceable by law, Plover can refuse the transfer
of many licenses at once. If a license was transferred to you, you may not transfer that
license again to any individual for the next 7 months.
License transfer fraud (keeping the model after transferring its license) can result in legal
action where applicable for unsanctioned use of the services models.

  3. You will not hire blacklisted developers. If a developer is blacklisted from Plover, it is
usually for good reason. If you find a developer or executive on your team that has
access to Plover models is blacklisted, and do nothing, you will be removed from Plover or
your licenses and subscriptions may be revoked until those members are removed. For a
current list of blacklisted developers, please open a ticket. If you join Plover and have
association, or own a group with a blacklisted developer, you may be restricted.

  4. You will not sell pre-built games with Plover models that must be licensed in them or
    trade Plover models.
While we do allow you to showcase the builds with Plover assets in
them, once the file is handed off it is expected that it does not include any Plover models,
unless you can verify that the user you are selling it to owns a license in our Discord to the
Plover models included using the command to check or by verifying with staff.

  5. You will not rescale or remove the logo from Plover models. While you are allowed to
change the colors of the product as long as logos stay visible (There must be a minimum
contrast ratio of 4.5:1 between the background and the logo), we will not tolerate the full
removal of logos or license stickers from products you purchase from us.

  6. Do not modify the code in models to create cracked models or use a mesh ID, image ID,
or sound ID not owned by Plover or a certified developer/past developer in an attempt to
circumvent a blacklist for using cracked and revoked models or media.

  7. Buyers must notify us if their game has been leaked. We will assist in the DMCA takedown
process and will help stop the distribution of your developer’s work.
