16+ Playtesters unable to join Experience

As the title suggests, I am trying to get some playtesters into a game I’ve created, and we are running into some issues.

For reference, all of the testers are age-verified 16+, have no additional content restrictions, and have the full ability to see the game’s page. I even added them as Trusted Friends and the issue did not resolve. Every tester is given Playtest access through Team Create, which I see confirmation of on the Creator Hub.

The Experience itself is also set up correctly as far as I can tell. Configure → Settings → Audience is set to ‘Limited’ with only the ‘Playtesters’ box checked. I filled out the Questionnaire and the game’s Maturity is labeled as ‘Mild’. In Audience → Reach, it states that the current reach is “Ages 16+ and Trusted Friends” with the Publishing Reach as “All Ages” and the content maturity once again as Mild. I have set all options in Audience → Access Settings to the least restrictive values I can: Age is set to All Ages, Region is set to All, all Device Types are enabled, Payment is Free to Play, Access Control is Fully Open, and Private Servers are enabled for Free (enabling private servers did not affect their ability to join, and I actually could not create my own private server due to an unknown error). From Roblox Studio, the experience is fully published, and I can join the game myself.

My testers were not able to join from the game link I sent, nor from the playtest access email they received.

We were able to find one ugly solution, which was to ensure that we are Trusted Friends, inviting them to a party while I’m in a server, and joining again to drag them in. This only works if they are Trusted Friends, and they can still not join from the game’s page.

I’m struggling to find similar errors that were actually resolved anywhere and I cannot find anything that is clearly causing this. I’m hoping that this is something small on my end and is not a recurring problem, but any fixes or insight into this would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m still uncertain how to get around this. I’ve been unable to run complete testing because I have to remain in the server for any of the testers to be able to join, which is a problem as our server sizes are very small and I’m unable to have more than a few testers playing at a time, which has been a problematic constraint.

Has the publishing fee been paid?

I have Roblox Plus, so I don’t think I need to, unless I’m misunderstanding something. There is no publishing fee that I can find anywhere on the Creator Hub and I am able to get testers into the game through the party system as mentioned, so I don’t see how the game could be unpublished.

Hey, sorry for the late response

Have you found a solution to this issue?

I posted a bug report on a separate thread and I believe the specific game permissions were adjusted, but I do not know if the full issue has been resolved, nor do I know whether it holds for other games I create. I will be able to test whether it was only applied to that game or generally working for me soon.
