About the team
Hey! We’re the team of developers responsible for the Nova Corporation roblox group, focused on roleplay. We are currently looking to expand our projects and will be needing a new programmer to take on the role of coding anything needed and assisting on the development of our latest project, related to dinosaurs. This will be done under a new group.
We are looking for someone that is capable of being active and interactive with the community, with good communication skills and specially a passion for dinosaurs / dinosaur related games / groups.
This is a relatively new project, so you would be working together with the people leading the project in order to lay down the foundation for what it is, has, will be and its games.
What we’re looking for
As a General Programmer, you will be working on a diverse range of systems and components of the group, such as weapon systems, vehicle tools (such as weapons or flight systems), dinosaur acting systems, crafting mechanisms, etc.
You will be responsible for coming up with ideas for new systems and how they interact with players, ways to improve upon the game, its environment and the group, fixing bugs and listening to community feedback and suggestions, analyzing ways to improve the performance in-game and other tasks that may be associated with developing the game.
You must be passionate about your work and constantly strive to bring better for the community.
You will need to invest your time, effort and dedication into this.
We expect you to be able to adapt, organize your code, keep it clean and readable, and be as performant and efficient as possible. You should be able to familiarize yourself with our work methods, and you should be able to get your way through unfamiliar code and learn to adjust it and write on it.
You must have good communication skills, as you will be required to be very active on Discord. We organize ourselves through Discord, so it is a requirement to be able to use it.
You must also be able to engage with the community, adjust to the community’s rules, and be a role model to the community.
Our scripts work under our private scripting framework Delta (note that proper documentation is in the works and the linked version is outdated, but you should be able to have a general idea of what it can do), which you will be expected to work with for all your scripts.
You should be able to work in a team and use Team Create to collaborate with our developers.
Since this is a full time job, you are expected to be very active. We’re looking for at least 35 hours a week dedicated to development / maintenance / work for the group.
Payment
We are offering a rate of $2000 USD a month in the robux form, meaning you should be looking at a payout of 571428 R$ through group funds every month.
Important note
You will be presented with a contract for this job. If you are under 18, you will require your legal guardian’s permission and signature.
