Im a huge Minecraft/Terraria fan and i’ve always wanted to see a multiplayer version with roblox elements similar to some RPG’s I like in the platform. So in the past month and half i’ve slowly tried building up an infinite world that’s completly 2D in Terraria Style with some aspects of RPG’s I like. However I havent been able to find many games like this in the roblox platform meaning I have no reference for what to do with this game, besides games outside of roblox which isnt that great. If you have suggestions, ideas, concepts, games that you suggest me play, let me know so i can make the best experience possible out of this project! Aside from Subterra and Boss Blitz on Roblox, I did find other true 2D Roblox games inspired by Terraria like 2D Mining, and Unnamed 2D Sandbox. Out of all the Terraria styled games on roblox, your project (Skyglen?) Is the best example out there!
I have been ocasionally chiming in to the public test place of Skyglen for a while and noticed world loading has been improved, probably because a proper loading screen has been added now haha.
For ideas, I hope movement based gameplay is planned for bosses
As a Terraria player myself i feel surprise now seeing Terraria on Roblox lol.
I would suggest to add more classes than summoner, mage, melee and ranger and make fishing better because fishing in terraria is pure pain. Maybe you could add space exploring, planets or even galaxies?
The game looks awesome tho.
Thx for naming those games, i just finished testing the 2 games that are true 2D and one of them actually had an interesting lighting thing going on, ill see if i can get in contact with the creators
