Hello! today I made finished my 2nd Low Poly build, I tried to go for a medieval style blacksmith. No interior for now because I was thinking of selling it. This time I tried to use blender more for more detail. What do you think? How could I improve my building?
This looks good, but the wall color is a bit off; I would go for a more brown or mahogany color.
I think the supports for the patio (is that what it is called idk) look a bit too shaky. I think you could add beams connecting the supports to each other and the main building.
Good idea, Thank you for the suggestion!
Looks awesome! The grass could do with some different colours around it and whatnot but
First of all, I really like the building a lot. I’m impressed with how quickly you make changes. Personally, I would give you these tips.
1- What is the thing that is getting stuck into your roof?
I would suggest you scale it down if you can because it really just triggers my OCD, to be honest. Although I’m very interested to know what it is since it doesn’t correlate with the fireplace or the roof at all?
2- Add more tiles.
The tiles feel like they are just copy-pasted and rotated. Try adding a bit more tiles since it looks very weird and bland especially the one near the house.
3- Why the holes in the house? (Optional)
I personally hate the holes in the house. It looks good but I just don’t like the holes since I actually know a bit of architect. I would however advise you to try to build a second layer or just cover the holes. But if it is the look you are going through. I don’t mind.
I really like your Polly-building. It is very impressive I must say. Good luck with the rest of your projects!
That thing is a chimney (I think)
The “Holes” are nail details (I think)
