3D Preview Should Appear on the 2D/Classic Clothing Creation Screen

If you make 2D clothing, you’ve had this happen to you. We’ve all made a mistake on our template and then had only realised after the upload, wasting 10 robux. This problem can easily be fixed with a 3D preview of the clothing on a blank blocky avatar on the upload screen. This will allow players to make last minute changes to the template.

Please consider adding this as a quality of life update.

(this is my first feature request, i hope you like it! :derp: )

Not only there, it would be extremely beneficial to have an instant 3D Try-On feature when viewing items on the marketplace and when hovering over items with your mouse in the marketplace.

Millions of players right now are relying on extensions like BTRoblox for these features when making marketplace purchases.

The problem? Over the past few weeks, thousands of creations have been invisible in the marketplace for millions of users. The millions using the extension (or its variants) assume that the item is invisible while worn and end up not purchasing the item.

Not only has this significantly damaged thousands of potential sales for both Roblox and its dedicated creators, it will continue to do so and create an uneven marketplace. Creations without the invisibility bug “win-out”. Many creators have stopped posting due to their items appearing invisible.

example:

how the item appears for the millions actively using the extensions/add-ons:

the hat accessory is completely invisible, driving users away from making the purchase due to them thinking it is invisible while worn.

To show you how it looks like for the millions of users who are actively using extensions right now. Notice how items all appear invisible instantly (making users not buy the item):

To clarify what I mean by “instant 3D-Try on”

Note:

  1. The difference in speed of trying the item in 3D view.
  2. The importance of having a preview on items you hover over as customers (why many use the extensions over the current site)

This is how it looks for the users using extensions:

This is how it looks like for users without the extension:
