Why this module?
9Shadows gives you an easy way to create consistent text shadows across your UI while keeping them customizable.
Instead of manually creating and managing additional TextLabel instances for every piece of text, 9Shadows handles the shadowing for you.
Why would I use this if I can add shadows to a TextLabel myself?
Great question! You absolutely can add shadows manually.
Our module is designed to make the process simpler, cleaner, and more consistent . Instead of manually creating and managing additional TextLabel instances for every piece of text, 9Shadows handles the shadow for you while still giving you control over its appearance.
This becomes especially useful when working with larger UIs where you want a consistent text-shadow style without repeating the same setup over and over again.
Does it update automatically?
Yes. The shadow automatically updates when properties such as Text, TextSize, Font, TextColor3, or other relevant properties of the TextLabel change.
Known Issues
If you encounter any issues with the module, we would greatly appreciate it if you let us know so we can investigate and try our best to fix them!
Currently, TextLabel instances directly under a UIListLayout or UIGridLayout are not supported.
Workaround: Place the TextLabel inside another instance, such as a Frame, and apply the 9Shadows tag to the TextLabel.
