I am having issues with certain vehicles being shaky while driving. I have tested this vehicle with a tune that I know works fine on other vehicles, so I believe it’s the model itself.
Attached is what is inside the model and a video displaying what the issue is. In the attached video, you will also see that without even moving the vehicle (besides forward), it will start moving to the right without any input.
Well, wouldn’t other working configurations work as well on that vehicle? So I don’t think it’s anything to do with the config, it has to be something with the model.
This issue has been happening for a while. Like I said, I tried other configs and it still does it, which is why I believe it’s the model itself. I posted this to see if anyone else has had the same issue and fixed it, as it’s a really weird bug.
If the tune worked on another car, it’s definitely your current car model that’s giving you trouble. I’m suspecting either wheels or hitboxes.
I suggest making sure all of the wheels are set up with everything aligned properly (hey, sometimes it just happens fr), and if not already done, disable hitbox collisions to see if that improves your driving. If so, a simple thing to make parts be non-collide with hitboxes (or collision groups) and you’re set.
I figured out the solution a few days ago, and it was because the wheel parts were SLIGHTLY out of the hitbox AND the parts were set to CanCollide. Not sure why A-Chassis doesn’t automatically set the parts inside the wheel to CanCollide false
