As a Roblox developer and user, it is currently too hard to enjoy experiences when you feel like playing independently when a connection that you like, but do not want to talk to at the moment, is also there.
Perhaps if there is a prompt that asks if you want to join your connection(s) server or continue to go to a server that is best for you, it would improve the ability to enjoy playing solo; thus, improving quality of experience without having to deal with that one connection that is nice but annoying at times.
I think the biggest thing is that sometimes people just want to play alone, and that’s valid imo.
A prompt, though, might be too much of an interruption from play. It is just one additional click, and an option in settings (not-in-game) would be too inconvenient, but I anticipate the pushback still.
That is true. Luckily, these appear only if a connection is in that same experience. Perhaps a don’t show again option that lets you choose a constant answer that can be changed in settings whenever, or the ability to allow auto-join to certain connections.
That seems like the perfect place for it in my opinion.
A lot of people complain that if settings keep getting added then it will lead to clutter but I honestly don’t see the problem with that. Most things you’ll only be changing once, and other stuff you’d use more often such as status visibility are easy to find and at the top. I don’t really get the argument.
I’d much rather have a choice at all than have no choice because it would make other choices too hard to find
