So me and my friend made a small project called “The ‘Obby’” which was a simple obby game with added dumb features with the goal of learning something. There are only 2 levels added in this game so the game shouldn’t be long to complete on paper, but every time you die the game crashes with a loud jumpscare (I got inspired by MUGEN on this one) (also good luck on the Roblox social credit test part). Again, this was a small project. When working on this game I learned some scripting things like player events, RemoteEvents, etc etc. I may or may not make a sequel to this game.
Almost all of the game’s assets looked like it came from the toolbox, the obby is too simple, and the “jumpscare” isn’t a jumpscare at all, nor is scary.
And placing random assets from the toolbox and these “dumb features” you call is not going to teach you anything.
Hi, no offense taken at all, and thanks for the feedback!
And yes, the jumpscare wasn’t meant to be scary or anything just something random I thought of adding in.
That’s a feature of the game: if you died (either by falling into the water or getting a question wrong) the game freezes. Though, I didn’t know it would be bad at the point where it can crash a computer.
Try adding kinda low but old scary music , a good example can be survive and kill the killers in area 51 music, it would really make it interesting and fun to me
