Currently, in studio, you cannot adjust the specular strength of lights. This is frustrating in the case that an environment artist/lighting artist may wish to fake global illumination or enhance a scene using lights. Adjusting the specular strength of lights would adjust how much that light creates a reflection on materials, currently, it’s specular strength is, I’m guessing fixed to the highest amount. An introduction of such a feature would allow more freedom and remove limitations when lighting a scene using future/realistic lighting. Additionally, many global illumination plugins / systems made by others who use a ton of different point lights are limited to using soft/shadowmap lighting to avoid the specular reflections - currently unable to be adjusted - don’t affect their desired result. No rush to add such a feature, however I feel like it wouldn’t be too hard? (but I have no idea)
