As someone who loves collecting items, it is currently hard to manage and showcase items in my inventory especially off-sales because everything is automatically sorted from newest to oldest, with no way to customize the order.
This creates a few problems:
- Rare or special items (limiteds, off-sale accessories, event prizes, trophies, etc.) end up pushed to the back and can’t be shown off easily.
- Players like me who care about having a clean inventory can’t arrange items the way they want.
- The “Collections” section on profiles feels underwhelming because it only shows around four to six items (see the image and screen recording below), and clicking “collections” just takes you to your inventory instead of showing everything in your collection.
If this issue is addressed, it would make inventories easier to browse, more personal, and more organized. Players could finally customize their inventory and place items exactly where they want, such as by moving rare items and event prizes to the very front.
Use cases where this would help players:
- Someone who owns rare trophies or event prizes could display them on the first page of their inventory instead of having them stuck far behind.
- Players could keep all their themed items (Halloween, Christmas, seasonal items, etc.) together in one section, not just by season but also by themes like superheroes, anime, animals, and more.
- Players who own limiteds or rare accessories could group them in one place to flex or showcase.
- People who simply like neat and organized inventories could sort their items for personal satisfaction.
- Players checking each other’s profiles would see a cleaner, organized inventory instead of clutter.
- This feature could also replace the current “Collections” feature, since players would be able to highlight their items across their whole inventory instead of being limited to just six.
Possible solution (minor note): Players could sort items alphabetically, by rarity, by purchase date (newest → oldest or oldest → newest), or create custom folders/pages (like “Favorites,” “Rare Items,” “Event Prizes,” etc.)
