Ability to update a mesh without creating a new asset?

I’ve always made a lot of changes to meshes for my projects, which leads me to the problem of having dozens of iterations of the same mesh that just makes everything more annoying to deal with. I know packages exist, but I’m really only wanting to do it for meshes that appear once. I’ve seen posts about something similar from years ago, but no information about it currently.

If anyone knows if this is possible, please let me know.

Have you tried archiving the unused meshes?
