Account compromised and terminated

On Sunday, April 13th, my Roblox account was compromised by someone I previously considered a trusted acquaintance. Before cutting off contact with this individual due to some inappropriate behavior on their part, they began sending harassing and threatening messages via Discord. These messages included statements such as, “Don’t come back crying to me after I’m done,” and threats of doxxing.

Shortly after, I received a warning email from Roblox notifying me of a Terms of Service violation, specifically the upload of an inappropriate asset of a T-shirt, which confused me since I was not using the platform at that time. When I fully grasped the situation and tried logging out of all accounts, it was too late, and my account was terminated.

Since the messages happened outside of Roblox on Discord, I gathered what I believed to be strong evidence. Luckily, getting in contact with Discord was easy, and as a result, their account has since been permanently suspended for violating Discord’s community guidelines. Now I believed it would be this easy as well when getting in contact with Roblox. Since the guy who got access to my account had his Discord linked with RoPro on his Roblox account and boasted about getting my account terminated to others, who reached out to me and sent me the DMs to use as proof.

BUT no, I have sent over 24+ emails back and forth, hoping someone would look into my case. I made sure to present my screenshots & videos. Only to wait 4+ days for each email and ultimately get told that my account would stay terminated after a month of emails. I’ve tried again but have been ignored since then. I did have trouble uploading images and recordings. Which I was told I could present a “self-recorded YouTube video link,” which I did, only for it to not be clicked on at all.

I am not sure if I can show the DMs and screenshots here since they include his Rblx user and deactivated Discord. + profanity.

I’m most positive that my account is gone forever, and just wanted to post to let others know my experience and if anyone has gone through something similar, lmk I’d love to hear how yours went.

Ive had that experience 2 times and wasnt appealed due to the TRASH moderation

RoPro is not officially affiliated with Roblox, Roblox would have no way to not only know if this link between the two accounts existed but they also cannot even guarantee that RoPro isn’t lying about the accounts being connected. You probably might have had better luck proving it if their Discord account was directly linked to Roblox.

Hope u get ur acc back…i wish roblox could tell if ur acc was compromised and lock it for a bit or had a verification thing with a selfie so it knew if it was you

How did they logged-in to your account exactly?

In case this is not a hack, and you voluntarily shared your account informations with that individual, then you cannot be unbanned, as it is clearly stated in the TOS that sharing your account informations with anyone is forbidden, whether they are family members, friends, or anyone else, regardless of whether you trust them or not. Therefore, you may have yourself violated the TOS, and as a result, you are not eligible to have your account unbanned.

never shared info like that, what I’m thinking is it was probably a link or something I clicked of his. Since we’ve been “friends” for over years I wasn’t really wary about that stuff. Plus I’ve found out that he was previously termed for beaming and selling stolen accounts

Alright! Make sure to include these informations in the emails you send to Roblox, and use the email address that was linked to your terminated account.

We should band together and make a documentary about Roblox’s moderation and how it’s absolutely DOOKIE.

Let’s be realistic, I know that many people are falsely terminated. I’m not the only one. There are many people who are in the same situation.
