So I wasn’t sure where this should go, so I am sorry but I am sorta of desperate as my friend is having a hard time with his account. Earlier today his account was mistaken flagged for “Giving PII.” All it said was this:
All it is, is his username. Its not his actual name, its literally just RoboRaptor and a couple of other random numbers but this is what the ticket reviewed and evidently saw as “PII.”
He said that Roblox gave him a message saying something about a warning and then he was able to get back into his account however his violation & appeals thing still says his appeal(s) were denied. So I was wondering has anyone else dealt with this before? Is his account safe? He is still waiting for word back from Roblox support about this matter.
don’t panic. if it was just a warning and he clicked “reactivate” to get back into his account, he is safe. the automated PII filter is heavily flawed and hyper-aggressive. sometimes random numbers in a string look like a phone number or zip code to the bot, or a combination of letters accidentally matches a real-world name.
as for the “appeal rejected” status: that just means an outsourced worker (or another bot) speed-read the ticket and hit the deny button to clear their quota. this is standard roblox zendesk behavior.
tell ur friend to stop spamming support tickets about it. just take the warning and move on. pushing it further with support usually just traps u in an automated loop of automated rejections.
Alright! Thank you! He said something did pop up, however I think he said he accidently closed it. But none the less he is able to access his account. So I think all he is currently trying to do is make sure his account is safe.
