Hello everyone, this is my first ever post on Roblox DevForum, and I just wanted to come here and ask for some feedback on account enforcement bans, because I’m having a difficult time with the AI moderation system that Roblox has, and they always seem to respond with the same 30-day generic email ever since I had my appeal approved. Now I’m not sure what to do about the situation and I cane here trying to ask for help.
To start off, I was just playing one of my favorite games on Roblox, when I eventually got my account hacked by a phishing link sent by another user. And at first, I thought nothing of it because it looked like the actual Roblox website, but as soon I noticed my login information didn’t work, I realized it was a fake website that said Roblox.com.ml instead of Roblox.com. But by the time I realized it was fake, my account was already accessed by the hacker leading to my ban. I understand this is purely my fault for clicking on a link to begin with, so I apologize for going such a dumb gesture and acting like a child. But anyway, back to the point, so then I decided to try to appeal for the image that I was banned for, but I didn’t really recognize what the image was, as the apparent reason was “Child Endangerment.” I wasn’t sure what image could have possibly led to my enforcement ban, because all the images I uploaded were for Pls Donate, back a while ago, and even then all the images really didn’t have any sort of offensive imagery in them, they were all images from items in Doors.
After that I started appealing for the ban and eventually on the last day to appeal on March 6th I got this message from Roblox:
I was finally able to relax, thinking my account was going to be reinstated because it usually takes a few days for the system for render the account recovery. But it never happened, I even made sure that it was the same ID from my ban, (As you can see, in this image it is the same image ID.)
Ever since that day, I’ve been trying to appeal, and I always get the same path that leads back to the “It’s been more than 30-days, so you can’t appeal anymore.” Even when I put, “I don’t want an appeal, I just want clarification on the approved appeal.” And they don’t seem to listen, this is my last resort, and I’d appreciate any kind of help and feedback people can give me on my situation. I’m just sick of talking to AI, and having no help at all in the normal appeal method. Thank You to everyone that can help me with this situation.
