I’ve recently received a notification on action required to delete someone’s data. However the data is points and I’m unable to find the user and Idk how to delete this?? Roblox’s links aren’t helpful.
I believe this is just a automated message that triggers when the player successfully did a right-to-erasure request through Roblox and played your game one time. You don’t need to take any action if you don’t keep any records of said user i believe
A important note is that many people just ignore these requests but i think this is actually against the law to not comply if you have any records
It is only points tho…
Which is why its confusing me…
Points are still data. Plus, it’s an automated message, the only criteria is that the player has joined your game before. It’s required by law, meaning Roblox has to send out notices no matter how small the amount of data is or what the data is.
the only reason why i ignore them is because i get 10 of them a day and its just insanity. i dont feel the need to delete it because im not storing any identifiable information about them; just player stats. Whats wrong with storing their coin amount? I really dont know. Wish roblox could let us make a system to automatically delete their info.
The data is only points as far I’ve checked on game Data Store DATA/(ID) and it shows points. And its like 0??
And Idk if I need to delete since its basically 0 points showing…
