Adaptive Animation setup shows Motor6Ds, and other trouble

I’m trying to set up an avatar with the new Adaptive Animation tech. However it’s displaying Motor6Ds as seen in the image:


It appears to show 2 separate rigs, the grey joints are Motor6Ds and the orange joints are bones.

I’ve also got some issues once I filled out HRD for each body part - testing some animations shows the rig’s bones appear rotated incorrectly

Another issue is that attachments for accessories aren’t parented to the correct body parts

Would appreciate some pointers here! Maybe I’ve done something wrong with my setup. Let me know!

Further info on this:

The above was using “Custom Humanoid” Rig option on import.

Using R15 solves some of these problems, but still has it’s own issues such as the Spine bone not being detected, and the tool is very buggy, as seen in the video shared below:
