As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to make any kinds of material which look like steel or (brushed) aluminium, but behave like metal in terms of lighting.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because using metal with the new lighting looks often so similar. If there would be aluminium, the reflections of the rough structure aluminium and steel have, you could easily create much more difference and if you choose a color that is more bright (like white) you could tell it’s aluminium because of those reflections and properties those materials have.
My use case is a modern facility, and I love the new metal material properties, but the metal looks so similar and you can’t tell there’s a different surface structure like it would be with the aluminium reflections.
