As seen in the image, the cursor changes into a pointer when hovering ImageButton instances, which makes sense. However, this can be a bit disappointing knowing it cant be disabled if a developer wants to add their own mouse icon behaviors. Would be really nice if a property can be added for the ImageButton instance and other similar clickable UI instances. Currently, I have to get very hacky to work around this which takes up a lot of time and planning.

On my opinion you cant disable the Miuse Icon but if you wan’t so then try:
local Players = game:GetService("Players")
local LocalPlayer = Players.LocalPlayer
local Mouse = LocalPlayer:GetMouse()
if LocalPlayer then
Mouse.Icon = "USE AN TRANSPARENCY IMAGE!!!"
end
This should work

Yeah agreed. I did something similar to this by making a mouse module and making the icon transparent by default, then adding my own icons into a UI frame and positioning it at the mouse position per frame.

Yeah ok, but it’s actually one or more moduleScript’s instead of just one regular LocalScript that works if you use an transparency image. I mean it’s easy then useing an modulescript’s?
