I’m requesting a new property for UIGradient called ApplyGradientMode, similar to how UIStroke has ApplyStrokeMode. This would let developers choose exactly where the gradient should be applied on a UI element.
Use Case: Example
a Money Indicator UI. Using a TextLabel. I added a UIGradient to create a fading effect from right to left on the TextLabel Frame’s background. However, the gradient is also applying to the text, which I don’t want. With ApplyGradientMode, I could restrict the gradient to only the Frame background.
Additional Request:
Please also allow multiple UIGradient instances on the same UI element. This would enable more complex and layered gradient effects without needing workarounds.
This feature would greatly improve UI customization and visual clarity in Roblox games.
