Add New Ways To Add Trusted Connections

Thanks for the feedback!

In March, we’ll be rolling out new ways for users who already know and trust each other to become Trusted Connections—even when they’re not physically together.

Today, we only upgrade live, in-person QR scans to Trusted as a safety measure. This helps prevent users from unintentionally forming Trusted Connections with strangers when QR codes are shared broadly on social media to add regular Connections.

In the meantime, if you’d like to add someone remotely as a Trusted Connection, we recommend using Contact Importer.

• IE LINKS (Invite Links) (yeah like adding someone remotely as a trusted connection)
• and upgrading regular connetions to friends, yeah they need to approve if 13+ age checked,
