Introduction:
If you are confused or don’t know what I mean, what I mean is that when you become a Member of the Developer Forum, add some welcome page with all the rules listed, kinda like a Terms of Service with what most games have. It should just have a basic layout of common rules, like how to use categories correctly, what to do and not to do, etc.
Feature:
As explained above, just maybe add some sort of welcome page, when you become a member, and when you scroll down there are basic rules, then the user must hit a box or something, this lets them know that they accept all guidelines and protocols.
Conclusion:
I think that this feature would really help new users how to properly use the forum, and give them a better understanding of what it’s about. Thanks for reading, and stay safe!
Yes, i’m aware of this. The reason I made this is because it just gives more liability for the user to read them right away. Some users might just read “Oh, ima Member thats, cool!”, so I thought that this would be a considered suggestion. Thanks for your references though!
Users are not going to read the rules, it’s just a general thing. Users will learn from their mistakes when it happens. If they don’t, they’ll be in trouble for it if they continue.
