Add Sorting Options to Inbox Based on Message Type

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to organise messages such as Right to Erasure, DevEx, Maturity Label Compliance, etc due to the fact that they are all thrown into the same inbox with no built-in sorting options. The news tab rarely gets used, you cannot send messages to people anymore, and archive is just a second inbox at this point.

I was advised to make a feature request about this as there is currently no solution for this yet.

I think we should either get tabs for each message type or a dropdown box to sort by type. Maybe even a new messaging system in the creator dashboard.

I do already take action against Right to Erasure requests, but the clutter makes it hard to keep track of which ones I have already dealt with.

Messages I almost missed due to the clutter

I tend to miss a lot of other messages due to this clutter. I am not saying to get rid of Right to Erasure requests, but there should be a way to easily distinguish them, especially since I already use the automated methods to handle them.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because it would make it easier to take action against different messages without needing to manually check each one. I have almost missed messages that could have been a risk if I did not see them.

This is all I see when trying to find messages

I believe they could be organised into the following categories:

  • Right to Erasure
  • Trades
  • Developer Exchange (email notification exists)
  • Developer Challenges
  • Refunds
  • Maturity Label Compliance (email notification exists)
  • Moderated Assets (email notification exists)
  • Legacy Messages

I may have missed some but these are examples of messages I would prefer to have sort options for. I understand that it may be difficult to separate these as they likely were not originally assigned labels but in the future it would be better for them to have a category assigned to them.
