Good Afternoon,
Today, it was announced that the upload fee for 3D accessories is being adjusted to 80 Robux.
Over the past few months, this price has dropped 670 Robux to upload an accessory.
While this is great to hear in general, this raises concerns for In-Experience Creator Games.
As far as I’m aware, publishing an item In-Experience costs the user Price Floor + 45 Robux. The cost of purchase is not discounted by Roblox Plus. Additionally, what they upload cannot be published at any point.
This means for a hat accessory, users have to pay a hard fee of 125 Robux.
This used to be good for people who wanted to make items for themselves, as it used to be much cheaper than uploading the item through Studio. However, with the changes announced today, I have a trickling fear that users will start abandoning In-Experience creation to just upload in Studio themselves.
This cost difference feels outdated and generally unfair. Our users complain about not being able to publish, but I understand. Then there’s the Plus discounts not applying, which could also push some users away. Now there’s this: a 55 Robux price difference for uploading in our game.
What my ask is:
Adjust experience creation fees to be fairer and more competitive with the recent platform changes. It feels like we have been left behind, and it would significantly benefit our user base if changes were made.
Thank you.
