Issue with the Roblox appeal platform is that, for some types of warnings, Roblox seems to have already made up its mind and cannot accept appeals despite an option to appeal being present.
Earlier, Roblox decided to content delete the official Adonis MainModule so I followed the intended procedure and appealed its ban (itself for seemingly random reasons – trusted module by Roblox, not updated in over a week), but both appeals were denied the second I submitted them. This is problematic as it suggests that the appeals are not being treated as appeals, but rather as “we’re letting you know we’ve made up our mind and you’re wrong”. If the appeal is going to be auto-denied, why present the option? Feels like a bug
Just to give a demonstration of what I mean, the API log clearly shows that for both of the appeals, they were decided and denied within 0.5 seconds of the submission of the appeal. And for the other appeal, it was 0.394 seconds. I’ll say that again: 0.394 seconds to decide and deny this incredibly important appeal. I cannot fathom that this could be anything other than a bug.
The system is either some guy with an autoclicker on the deny button or AI, I’ve always had it auto-deny every moderation (even ones where I’m clearly in the right!)
For the ban itself: I had a similar issue of auto-moderation on a module I made and apparently the anti-backdoor filter can catch some pretty innocuous things in some contexts and models quit being grandfathered in on update (one that I remember existing and think would apply to Adonis admin is require by number being not allowed)
That’s not exactly acknowledging the bug in this post, which I can only assume isn’t fixed.
0.394 seconds is, to my knowledge, significantly faster than the world record for read speed, and that sort of reaction time is approaching (if not at/better than) F1 driver/professional athlete levels.
