Advanced modification of "BanningEnabled"

Brief explanation of the problem

Some developers are currently using datastores to store Banishment data,
Others use BanningEnabled, to have better control over Roblox’s BanningEnabled, we would like to have Roblox events built in.

Currently Roblox when BanningEnabled is enabled, automatically kicks players with an active Ban, but, other developers would like to make custom ban screens, relative to places, etc.

Solution
Allow developers to have access to new settings in BanningEnabled, example:

Params
game.Players.BanningEnabled
game.Players.BanKickEnabled If BanningEnabled is enabled, and this option is enabled, then the player will be kicked during an active ban

Events
game.Players.OnBanAdded When a ban is added to a player in the experience, this event is triggered, allowing developers to redirect to a Ban screen or a place
game.Players.PlayerAdded(plr)

  • plr:IsBanned() Same as OnBanAdded but when the player joins the game while banned

What would this be used for?
This could be useful for developers who want to have control over their moderation systems, while keeping Roblox’s reliable BanApi system.

Bump. This would be super useful, especially for admin systems like the one I’m working on. It’d also be nice to have BanningEnabled and BanKickEnabled scriptable properties, or at least game.Players:IsBanningEnabled() and game.Players:IsBanKickEnabled() methods.

This would allow systems to appropriately account for whether they’re enabled or not, or even use datastore-based banning as a fallback.

Without this, I will sadly not be using the new API with my system.
