Advanced particle system created by my friend at school

This is…just wow :woohoo: it uses loads of parts (I think) not exactly sure how he did it but he lemme peak the code and it looked extremely complex :?

He’s working on colour changes, more patterns and making it able to connect to characters, gears and parts

Video/Demo[strike] coming soon[/strike]:

I did the piano, he sent me footage I added some effects and uploaded it to my own YouTube as he has very bad internet

If I find out more details about it I’ll let you know :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m honestly confused if this is april fools or not.

I have the feeling it is (but if its not this guy deserves a cookie). But I just figured out what I’m going to be doing when I get home…

He told me about this in Skype two days ago so… I’m questioning how he got all those parts moving and still have performance upon screen recording it.

I’m questioning if those are even parts. They could be GUIs (or parts with decals?), but they just look too “shapy” to be ROBLOX. You should ask your friend is this is legitimate or not.

It is legit, despite the day and our school hosts quite powerful computers so they can handle it but I saw him writing the code and stuff so it is legit I thought the same thing it just can’t be real :open_mouth:

He told me his friend made it. So he’ll have to ask his friend if it’s legit. But he took a peak at the script and said it’s quite confusing. And it could just be Guis or decals. Bradley, what’s his Roblox username?

EDIT: Bradley sent me this screenshot of it in Roblox Player: Screenshot by Lightshot

Oh my god… whoever that guy is, he deserves a medal!

He uses my old alt account bradleyp116

And I forgot to add the (c) banner at the bottom :frowning:

Wow that’s awesome. I’m really curious how it all works.

AND A COOKIE!

When I first saw this, it reminded me of this app I downloaded a few weeks ago. If it is legit, that’s pretty cool to do on ROBLOX.

Wow. Is he in rbxdev already?

I found the place I was remembering that had very similar particles. Is your friend by any chance Treyreynolds? He made a thread about his particles. If not, I’m amazed that two people could have such similar creations.

Press F in his demo place to use the particle shotgun. It shoots like 200 particles and they float around in the wind.

No :frowning:

@Shark Guy And no, not trey
And look at his models :o

I’m going to guess this only works if you have a powerful pc? Still… Could be an amazing effect. And if it’s local, you can turn it on/off depending on player’s pc.

Is there a max amount of particles??

He has only tested it to 600 particles he’s testing more I think and it should work on ‘normal’ pc but the particle limit will be lower I guess and the quality must be low and other applications closed
