Advice for game mechanics

Hi. I’m making a post-nuclear war survival game, set in 1980s Texas, specifically 1982, with roleplay elements (faction wars which are building up the lore). It is PC only.

Currently, I have 4 main ideas for it.

1: Good third person gunplay for what I can do at the moment - you can see the guns I’m working on here: Weapons Testing V3 - Roblox (feedback appreciated)

2: Survival mechanics - hydration, stamina, non-regenerating health, looting & exploring

3: Lore interactivity - participate in lore making events, like invading an enemy faction.

4: Creating your own character and customising it.

However, I find this a bit bland and unengaging. Not to mention, I’m not very good with scripting a lot of stuff. So what I would like is for you to suggest what I should add to the game to make it more engaging, or what I should take away to make it more accessible!
