Hello, I am working on a game with two friends. Recently I’ve wanted to add a server browser. So there is now a game A (the playable game) and game B (the server browser), all under the same main place, if that makes sense.
Players and developers, opening in Studio by default, both enter game A. But players should load into game B, whilst developers should open studio, click on the game and load into game A.
Solutions I’ve thought of:
- Making game B the default starting place. I don’t want that because as a developer it means loading into the server browser first, then opening asset manager, places, and then finally clicking on game A. This is a hassle.
- Doing the procedure above once and then relying on opening recent games in Studio’s File tab. I guess this works but it still feels unorthodox.
Is there a proper way of doing this? If my memory serves me, a few years back before Studio’s UI modernization if a game had multiple subgames within, you would click on it then you had the choice to choose which one to open, but I seem unable to find this nowadays.
Thank you.
