✟ May God bless you all.

Orthodox Creed

We believe in one God, God the Father, the Pantocrator, Who created heaven and earth, and all things, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only-Begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages; Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten not created, of one essence with the Father, by Whom all things were made; Who for us, men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnated of the Holy Spirit and of the Virgin Mary, and became man. And He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried. And on the third day He rose from the dead, according to the Scriptures.

Ascended into the heavens; He sits at the right hand of His Father, and He is coming again in His glory to judge the living and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end.

Yes, we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who, with the Father and the Son, is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke by the prophets. And in one holy, catholic (universal) and apostolic church. We confess one baptism for the remission of sins.

We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come. Amen.

Whereas Affogiato is founded on principles that recognize the supremacy of our Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ, and the primacy of the law.

1 The Affogiato Declaration of Member Rights & Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms outlined therein. They can only be restricted by a rule of law, within reasonable limits and approved by the Chairman, President or Vice President of Affogiato.

2 Everyone has the fundamental freedoms of opinion and expression, within the boundaries of respect and dignity upheld by Affogiato.

3 Any Vice President appointed by the President or the Chairman must have previously been elected by the employees of Affogiato.

4 Everyone has the right to liberty and security of person; this right may only be restricted in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice and with the approval of the Chairman, President or Vice President of Affogiato.

5 Everyone has the right to protection against arbitrary questioning and investigations. Notably, no one may be compelled to answer questions during an interrogation or investigation.

6 Everyone has the right to protection against arbitrary, cruel, and unusual disciplinary measures, including:

a) no individual may face disciplinary action for a rule not explicitly outlined in the Affogiato Edicts;
b) no employee may be subject to disciplinary action unless valid evidence has been submitted to and logged by a High Rank or higher.

7 Every employee has the right, in the event of disciplinary measures being taken against them:

a) to be informed, upon request, as soon as possible, of the reasons for the disciplinary measures;
b) to request evidence of the offense they are accused of and to receive it promptly;
c) to appeal the decision and to be informed, without delay, of the outcomes.

8 (1) The law makes no distinction and applies equally to all; everyone is entitled to the same protection and benefit of the law, without discrimination, including discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, sex, age, or mental or physical disabilities.

Chairman, President and Vice President Immunity

(2) Due to the unique nature of their responsibilities within Affogiato, the Chairman, President and Vice President are exempt from adhering to the rules of Affogiato, for any reason or without justification. It is formally acknowledged that they are above the regulations governing the group, and no disciplinary action may be taken against them. The Chairman, President or Vice President may transfer their immunity to any individual, based on the terms they establish, including the specific purpose and duration.

Board of Directors Immunity

(3) Due to the unique nature of their responsibilities within Affogiato, the Board of Directors is exempt from adhering to the rules of Affogiato, insofar as it is necessary and reasonable to do so. It is formally acknowledged that they are above the regulations governing the group, and no disciplinary action may be taken against them when acting within the bounds of their immunity. The Board of Directors may transfer their immunity to any individual, according to the terms they establish, including the specific purpose and duration.

9 (1) The official language of Affogiato is English. Employees are not required to speak or understand any other language.

(2) Although the official language of Affogiato is English, everyone has the right to speak in any language they choose on all official Affogiato platforms.

10 (1) Every individual has the right to privacy within Affogiato. Specifically:

a) everyone has the right to ensure their personal information remains confidential and is not disclosed to the public;
b) everyone has the right to ensure that their employee file is kept confidential. The information contained within it may only be accessed or shared by High Ranks or higher, in the exercise of their official duties, or by the individual themselves upon request to review the contents of their file.

(2) If an individual voluntarily discloses certain private information to the public, it is deemed a waiver of the confidentiality of that information. Any other person who uses or shares this information publicly cannot be held accountable, provided that such use does not intend to harm the individual in question.

11 Anyone who meets the promotion requirements is entitled to a fair chance of promotion. It is the responsibility of the Board of Directors to ensure that everyone is granted this right.

12 Under no circumstances should an employee be forced to meet activity requirements, as they are inherently abusive and detrimental to their mental health and well-being.

13 Every employee has the right to refuse service to any individual requesting more than 5 items within a 30-minute period.

14 Any individual whose rights or freedoms, as guaranteed by this declaration, are violated or denied may petition the Chairman, President or Vice President for redress, which will be determined based on fairness and the specific circumstances at hand.

15 Any interpretation of this declaration must align with the objective of protecting the rights and freedoms of all Affogiato members.

📘 Affogiato Edicts

Whereas Affogiato is founded on principles that recognize the supremacy of our Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ, and the primacy of the law.

Moreover, Affogiato is founded upon principles that do not adhere to the rigid application of strict regulations typically seen in a conventional Roblox role-playing group, recognizing instead the discretionary authority vested in the High Ranks and Super Ranks. The following regulations are to be enforced with the aim of preserving order and fostering a sense of safety within Affogiato. However, these rules shall not be employed as a means of unjustly penalizing individuals for inadvertent transgressions or honest mistakes made in good faith.

General offences

Minor offences

1 The following infractions are categorized as minor offences. Any individual committing one or more of these offences will first receive a warning. If the behavior continues after the warning, they will be issued a server kick. Should they rejoin the same server and persist in committing one or more of these offences, a server ban will be enforced. These rules apply exclusively to actions within Affogiato games:

a) Trolling: Deliberately causing disruption or annoyance to others through actions or words, such as provoking arguments or deliberately ruining the experience for other players.
b) Minor Spamming: Repeatedly sending the same message or irrelevant content in a disruptive manner, causing unnecessary clutter in the chat.
c) Disrespect: Using offensive language, insults, or showing a lack of consideration for other players’ feelings, regardless of context.
d) Glitching: Intentionally exploiting glitches or bugs within the game for personal gain or to negatively affect the gameplay experience of others.
e) Failure to Follow Staff Instructions: Ignoring or deliberately disobeying the directions or commands given by staff members, affecting the smooth operation of the game or community.

Bypassing Server Ban

f) Circumventing a Server Ban by Using an Alternate Account: Should an individual, having been previously server banned, attempt to circumvent the ban by rejoining the server through the use of an alternate account, an immediate and automatic server ban will be imposed on the new account, without prior warning or a kick.

Major offences

2 The following infractions are classified as major offences. Any individual found committing one or more of these violations will face a permanent ban from the specific game or platform in which the offence occurred. These regulations are strictly applicable to actions carried out within Affogiato games and platforms, with the exception of subsections (c), (e), (f), (h), (i), (j), (k), (l), (m), (n), (o), and (p), which, if committed outside of Affogiato’s official games or platforms, shall result in a permanent ban from any official Affogiato game or platform where it is deemed reasonable and necessary to impose such a ban:

a) Exploiting: Engaging in unfair advantages through manipulation of the system or game mechanics.
b) Bypassing the Chat Filter: Deliberately circumventing the in-game chat filters to send prohibited content.
c) Inappropriate Behavior: Making or engaging in inappropriate statements or actions.
d) Major Spamming: Repeatedly sending excessive, irrelevant, or disruptive messages.
e) Threats with the Intent to Cause Distress: Issuing threats designed to instill fear or insecurity in others.
f) Discrimination: Engaging in discriminatory actions or speech against individuals based on their identity.
g) Impersonating Affogiato Staff: Wearing the uniform reserved for Affogiato employees or any attire resembling the official staff uniform to the extent it could be mistaken for the official uniform.
h) Threatening Affogiato or Its Members: Making threats to harm Affogiato or its members.
i) Disrespecting Affogiato as a Group or Its Values: Showing disregard for the integrity of Affogiato or the principles it upholds.
j) Blasphemy or Disrespect Towards Christian Symbols and Affogiato’s Heritage: Displaying disrespect towards God, Christianity, the cross at the café’s entrance, or any biblical verses inscribed within the café, in light of Affogiato’s foundational values rooted in these principles.
k) Raiding, Attempting to Raid, or Threatening to Raid: Engaging in, attempting, or threatening to raid, or exhibiting behavior that provides reasonable grounds to suspect that a raid is imminent or planned. This includes any actions or indications that suggest the intention to disrupt or attack the community or its operations.
l) Associating with Individuals or Groups Who Express Malicious Intent Towards Affogiato: Engaging in associations, whether public or private, with individuals or groups who explicitly express harmful intentions towards Affogiato or its members. This includes providing support, encouragement, or affiliation with those who have demonstrated or voiced a desire to harm or undermine the integrity of Affogiato.
m) Disturbing the Peace: Engaging in actions or speech, or failing to act or speak in a manner that is careless, disruptive, or reckless to such an extent that permanent banning becomes the only reasonable measure to cease the infraction. This action is necessary to protect public interests and prevent the continuation or recurrence of such disruptive behavior, given the circumstances.
n) Doxxing: The act of publicly revealing or publishing private information about an individual without their consent, with the intent to harm, intimidate, or harass. This includes sharing personal details such as addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive data.
o) Bribery: Engaging in or attempting to engage in bribery — such as offering, soliciting, or accepting money, benefits, or other favors in exchange for preferential treatment, influence, or exemption from standard procedures.
p) Circumventing a Permanent Ban by Using an Alternate Account: Any individual who, after receiving a permanent ban, attempts to bypass the imposed restriction by accessing the server or any official Affogiato platform through the use of an alternate account shall be deemed in violation of this provision. Such an act constitutes a deliberate attempt to subvert the enforcement of Affogiato’s regulations and undermines the integrity of its community standards. Upon detection, the alternate account used for circumvention shall be subject to an immediate permanent ban. Furthermore, any subsequent attempts to evade the original ban through similar means will result in continued enforcement of this measure.

Staff offences

First-Level Staff Offences

3 Any staff member, defined as an individual holding the rank of Trainee or higher (notwithstanding that Trainees are not permitted to work at the café), who commits one or more of the following infractions on any official Affogiato platform shall be deemed guilty of a First-Level Staff Offence. Such an individual will be subject to a written warning placed in their record or a suspension lasting from one to five days:

a) Major Unprofessionalism: Engaging in conduct that flagrantly breaches the professional standards expected of staff members, including the use of inappropriate language, unprofessional behavior in communication, or actions that undermine the reputation and values of Affogiato. It is understood that minor lapses in professionalism are not subject to condemnation, as Affogiato remains a recreational platform, and such behavior may be reasonably expected in the context of a gaming environment.
b) Tool or Permission Abuse: The improper or malicious use of tools or permissions granted for the purpose of carrying out one’s duties within the role. This includes using such powers for personal gain, engaging in unjust actions, or exploiting them outside of their intended purpose.
c) Disrespect: Engaging in behavior that is dismissive, insulting, or otherwise demeaning towards other staff members, users, or the Affogiato community, thereby undermining the core values of mutual respect and professionalism. However, it is acknowledged that employees are entitled to defend themselves against any disrespectful behavior directed towards them, provided that their response is proportionate to the level of disrespect they encounter. This exception is not intended to condone the escalation or creation of conflict by the employee but rather to allow for reasonable self-defense in accordance with Affogiato’s commitment to the well-being and dignity of its staff. Affogiato recognizes the right of its employees to preserve their dignity in the face of disrespect, while maintaining a respectful and harmonious environment.
d) Advertising Anything Other than Affogiato: Promoting external groups, services, or platforms not affiliated with Affogiato within any official platform, thereby diverting attention from the group’s core purpose and activities.
e) Violation of the Fundamental Rights of Affogiato Members: Any staff member found to have infringed upon the fundamental rights of Affogiato members, as delineated in the Affogiato Declaration of Member Rights & Freedoms, in a marked or significant manner, shall be deemed in violation of this provision. Such an infraction refers to actions or behaviors that unduly interfere with, undermine, or violate the rights and freedoms granted to members under the aforementioned Declaration.
f) Committing Any Minor Offence in Accordance with Article 1 of This Law: Engaging in any Minor Offence as outlined in Article 1 of the present edicts.

Second-Level Staff Offences

4 Any staff member, defined as an individual holding the rank of Trainee or higher (notwithstanding that Trainees are not permitted to work at the café), who commits one or more of the following infractions on any official Affogiato platform shall be deemed guilty of a Second-Level Staff Offence. Such an individual will be subject to a suspension lasting from six to ten days or a demotion to the Affogiato Customer rank:

a) Harassment for Promotion: Harassing a High Rank or Super Rank for a promotion, or pressuring a Middle Rank to suggest them for a promotion.
b) Failure to Follow Reasonable Instructions: Failing to follow instructions from a rank above theirs, provided that the instructions are reasonable.
c) Bias: Demonstrating favoritism or bias in the execution of their duties or interactions.
d) Multiple Account Usage:

(1) Every individual who holds a rank of Trainee or higher within Affogiato, and who, without lawful justification or excuse, creates or maintains more than one account for use within Affogiato, commits a Second-Level Staff Offence.

(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), no offence is committed where:
(a) the individual has lost access to their primary account;
(b) the individual has notified a High Rank without unreasonable delay; and
(c) the alternate account is used solely for the duration of the inaccessibility to the primary account.

(3) Upon regaining access to the primary account, the individual shall, without delay, notify a High Rank and cease use of the alternate account. Under no circumstances may both accounts be used concurrently.

(4) An individual may maintain a secondary account ranked as Affogiato Customer for the sole purpose of casual engagement with the group and its places, provided that:
(a) the account is not used to undergo the interview, training, or promotion processes intended to attain a staff position;
(b) the account does not engage in interview sessions, training sessions, or work shifts; and
(c) the account is not used to commit any offence under these Edicts.

(5) Any misuse of a secondary account permitted under subsection (4) constitutes a breach of subsection (1).

(6) Notwithstanding subsections (1) through (5), individuals holding the rank of General Manager or higher may, in the performance of their duties, utilize a secondary account for investigative purposes, provided that:
(a) prior notice is given to a Super Rank; and
(b) the use is limited strictly to such investigative functions.

(7) Where an offence is committed on a secondary account, the individual shall be held fully accountable on both the secondary and primary accounts. The appropriate consequence shall be applied to each account, as if the offence had been committed on either. No individual may evade disciplinary action by separating their conduct across multiple accounts.

e) Accumulation of Warnings or Suspensions: Accumulating three warnings or suspensions within a six-month period.

Third-Level Staff Offences

5 Any staff member, defined as an individual holding the rank of Trainee or higher (notwithstanding that Trainees are not authorized to work at the café), who commits one or more of the following infractions on any official Affogiato platform or outside of Affogiato’s official platforms shall be deemed guilty of a Third-Level Staff Offence. Such an individual will be subject to a demotion to the Affogiato Customer rank or termination, wherein “termination” denotes the permanent revocation of their eligibility to hold a staff position within Affogiato:

a) Account Sharing: The act of sharing or transferring access to one’s personal account to another individual, thereby compromising the integrity and security of the account. This includes allowing unauthorized individuals to access staff accounts or participating in any account-sharing practices, undermining the exclusivity and responsibility tied to a staff member’s position.
b) Major Tool or Permission Abuse: The deliberate exploitation or misuse of administrative tools or permissions beyond their intended purpose, with the aim of gaining an unfair advantage, inflicting harm on others, or breaching the ethical standards expected of staff members. This includes using powers to manipulate, exploit, or sabotage the functioning of Affogiato platforms or negatively affect the experience of users or other staff members.
c) Committing Any Major Offence in Accordance with Article 2 of This Law: Engaging in any infraction categorized as a Major Offence under Article 2 of the present edicts.
d) Harassment or Bullying: Engaging in any form of harassment, intimidation, or bullying towards other staff members, users, or individuals within the Affogiato community. This includes, but is not limited to, repeated or sustained actions that create a hostile, unsafe, or uncomfortable environment. Harassment or bullying may involve derogatory remarks, threats, personal attacks, or any behavior intended to belittle, isolate, or harm another individual emotionally, mentally, or socially.
e) Leaking Confidential Information: Disclosing or distributing any information that is restricted to higher-ranking individuals or is confidential in nature, to a person or group who does not have official access to it, and in a manner that may cause harm or without regard for the potential consequences. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing sensitive operational details, privileged communications, or any internal information in a way that compromises the integrity, security, or reputation of Affogiato.
f) Egregious Unprofessionalism: Engaging in conduct that represents a flagrant and egregious breach of professional standards expected of staff members, including but not limited to:

  1. Repeated or severe use of inappropriate language.
  2. Grossly unprofessional behavior in communication or interactions.
  3. Actions that cause significant harm to the reputation, integrity, or values of Affogiato.

This category is reserved for instances of extreme misconduct that demonstrate a willful disregard for the principles of respect, collaboration, and professionalism integral to Affogiato. The gravity of such conduct is deemed incompatible with any position of responsibility within the organization.

g) Public Offence: A person commits a public offence if, with the intent to deceive, they cause a High Rank or Super Rank individual to begin or continue an investigation:

  1. by making a false statement accusing another person of committing an offence;
  2. by performing an act intended to make another person appear suspicious of an offence they did not commit, or to divert suspicion from themselves;
  3. by reporting that an offence has been committed when it has not been;
  4. by reporting, announcing, or causing to be announced in any other way that they or another person is deceased when this is false.

h) Accumulation of Demotions: Accumulating three demotions within a six-month period shall result in termination.

Blacklist Of Individuals

6 The Chairman of Affogiato, in conjunction with the Board of Directors, the Vice President and the President, is vested with the authority to blacklist any individual who, through their actions, poses a significant threat to the integrity, dignity, or sense of security of Affogiato. Such a threat must be deemed so severe that permitting the individual access to any official Affogiato platform would be considered highly unreasonable and detrimental. A decision to blacklist an individual shall require the approval of the majority of the Board of Directors or may be enacted unilaterally by the Chairman, the President or the Vice President, acting at their discretion.

It is recognized that the act of blacklisting constitutes the most extreme and decisive action that can be taken within Affogiato, and as such, it is considered a measure of last resort, invoked only under the most critical circumstances. An individual placed on the blacklist shall be permanently banned, with no right of appeal, from all official platforms of Affogiato. The validity of a blacklist may only be contested and revoked through an official meeting involving all members of the Board of Directors, the Vice President, the President, and the Chairman, wherein the majority determines that the blacklist is unjustified and must be rescinded.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

This section addresses some of the most common questions regarding Affogiato’s policies, practices, and principles. Whether you’re seeking clarity on specific rules or looking for guidance on common scenarios, the FAQs are designed to provide quick, accessible answers. If your question isn’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a High Rank or higher for further assistance.

Q: Is this group only for Christians?

A: Affogiato is founded and led by myself, Majestius, a Coptic Orthodox Christian. God is not a compartment of my life — He is its center. So naturally, He is the center of everything I build. As Scripture says, “whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31). That includes this group. Affogiato’s values, policies, and everything it stands for are rooted in the teachings of Christ. Affogiato is officially a Christian group.

That said, everyone is welcome here. Our Lord said “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19) — the Gospel is for everyone, not only those who already believe. You are welcomed into this community regardless of your background or faith. You will be loved here, because to love God is to love the people He created.

So come as you are. Just know you are walking into a group that stands on Christ, and will always point to the life, the truth, and the salvation found in Him.

— Majestius, Chairman of Affogiato

Q: How can I work at Affogiato?

A: To begin working at Affogiato, you must first join the group. Then, you will need to attend and pass an Interview Session to be ranked as a Trainee. Afterward, you’ll attend a Training Session to advance to Junior Barista. From there, you can continue your progression by attending further Training Sessions to rank up to Barista and eventually to Senior Barista.

Q: Can I be ranked to President? I have a lot of experience in other groups and want to help manage the game and handle trolls.

A: The rank of President is the highest achievable rank at Affogiato, directly beneath Chairman, the founder and owner of the group. However, Affogiato does not free-rank, sell ranks, or accept applications for ranks of any kind.
All promotions are earned through demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and consistent good work ethics. Members must progress by passing the required interview and attending training sessions, actively contributing to the community, and being recognized by leadership for their efforts.
While prior experience in other groups may help you understand how things operate more quickly than others, it does not guarantee or fast-track promotions. That said, Affogiato is generally more accessible for advancement than many other Roblox communities—those who remain committed and perform well will be noticed over time.

Q: When are sessions hosted?

A: You may refer to our Session Schedule here: Trello.

Q: How old do I have to be to work at Affogiato?

A: There are no specific age requirements for working at Affogiato. However, since being a Middle Rank, such as a Staff Assistant or higher, requires membership in the group’s Discord server, you must be at least 13 years old to be eligible for promotion to a Middle Rank position.

Q: If I have safe-chat, can I still work at Affogiato?

A: You may hold a position as a Low Rank while having safe-chat; however, you will not be eligible for promotion.

Q: When was Affogiato founded?

A: Affogiato was founded on March 01, 2025 by Majestius.

Q: Can I suggest someone for a promotion?

A: No, only Staff Assistants and higher are authorized to make promotion suggestions. However, you may suggest yourself for a promotion once every 6 months to a Staff Assistant or higher, provided they accept the suggestion.

Q: How do I report a staff member?

A:

  • To report a Trainee or a Low Rank (Junior Barista to Senior Barista), contact a member of Internal Affairs or use the #staff-reports channel on the Discord server if you are a staff member.

  • To report a Middle Rank (Staff Assistant to Manager), contact a member of Internal Affairs.

  • To report a Shift Manager or General Manager, please message a member of the Board of Directors.

Q: How do I appeal a ban?

A: If you have been banned from any official Affogiato platform and wish to appeal, you may contact any High Rank. Please note that you must wait at least 6 months from the date of your ban before submitting an appeal.

Q: How can I find out the reason for a disciplinary action taken against me?

A: If a disciplinary action has been taken against you and you wish to know the reason, you may contact any High Rank for clarification and request the evidence of the offence you are accused of. Additionally, you may request an appeal of the disciplinary action and be informed of the progress of your case.

High Ranks

Shift Manager
This rank is awarded to Managers who have been brought forward by a Board of Directors member, confirmed by a majority vote of the Board of Directors (2 out of 3), and given final approval by a Super Rank. Upon approval, the candidate undergoes a two-week High Rank trial administered by the Employment Department, after which they are promoted through an official ceremony. Shift Managers are granted administrator commands at the café, Interview Center, Training Center, and Discord server. Their responsibilities include banning major offenders, promoting deserving staff members, handling Low Rank disciplinary matters, and hosting Interview and Training Sessions. Shift Managers do not hold a department assignment but may express interest in contributing to a department to the relevant Board of Directors member or Vice President. Rank limit: 20 (subject to operational need).

General Manager (Stewardship Office)
This rank is awarded to Shift Managers who have expressed interest in a specific Department, been brought forward by the Board of Directors member of that Department, confirmed by a majority vote of the Board of Directors (2 out of 3), and given final approval by the Vice President of that Department. General Managers are granted super administrator commands at the café, Interview Center, Training Center, and Discord server. General Managers serve in one of two roles: as a Department Specialist, executing the work of their assigned Department (Internal Affairs, Employment, or Public Relations) under their Board of Directors member’s direction; or as the HR Senior, a department-free role dedicated to guiding and supporting Shift Managers. This rank is a Stewardship Office — a conditional position subject to continued suitability and institutional necessity. Rank limit: 10.

Board of Directors (Stewardship Office)
This rank is awarded to General Managers following a vote at the Bimonthly Super Rank Meeting, confirmed by a majority of the Super Rank Council (2 out of 3), accepted by the existing Board of Directors members, and contingent on a vacancy in a specific Department’s Director position. Board of Directors members are granted super administrator commands at the café, Interview Center, Training Center, and Discord server. Each Board of Directors member serves as the Director of one Department — Internal Affairs, Employment, or Public Relations — running its day-to-day operations and managing its General Managers. The Board of Directors also functions collectively for matters affecting the entire High Rank team, including voting on HR promotions, handling HR disciplinary matters, and deciding on HR policy. Collective decisions are made by majority vote (2 out of 3). This rank is a Stewardship Office — a conditional position subject to continued suitability and institutional necessity. Rank limit: 3.

Super Ranks

Vice President
The Vice President is awarded to a Board of Directors member who was first elected by the staff members of Affogiato and then appointed to a specific Department by the President or the Chairman. There are three Vice President positions, one per Department — Internal Affairs, Employment, and Public Relations. Each Vice President is the Overseer of their Department, holding full authority over everything within it. They set its direction and standards, serve as the final authority on all departmental decisions, and bear ultimate responsibility for its operations. Vice Presidents hold full Super Rank immunity and report to the President. Rank limit: 3.

President
The President is the highest achievable rank within Affogiato, appointed directly by the Chairman. The President is the operational head of the group and manages the Vice President tier. Vice Presidents report to the President, who handles conflicts between them, complaints about their conduct, and matters that exceed their individual scope. When the Chairman is absent, the President assumes responsibility for the group’s continuity. The President leads the process for promoting a Board of Directors member to Vice President and participates fully in all Bimonthly Super Rank Meetings. Rank limit: 1.

Chairman
This exclusive rank is held by Majestius, the founder of Affogiato. The Chairman is the group’s supreme constitutional authority, responsible for all official documents — the Handbook, the Edicts, the Declaration, all Decrees, and all Promotion Guides — as well as the development and maintenance of all Affogiato games and systems. The Chairman does not manage the departments operationally; that belongs to the Vice Presidents and the Board of Directors. He is the final and unreviewable authority in Affogiato. Rank limit: 1.

  • Exhibit strong work ethics and professionalism at the café;
  • Assist and observe during Interview and Training Sessions;

🧾 Appeal Information

This section of the handbook provides comprehensive guidance on the procedures and policies governing appeals within the Affogiato community. It delineates the rights of individuals to challenge permanent bans and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness, transparency, and adherence to due process in the enforcement of community standards.

Key provisions include eligibility criteria for submitting appeals, specified timelines for review, the required format for appeal submissions, and the structured decision-making process undertaken by relevant authorities. This section underscores Affogiato’s unwavering commitment to fostering a balanced and equitable system that upholds the principles of justice. It ensures that individuals have the opportunity to present their case, seek a fair review of decisions, and, where appropriate, reintegrate into the community.

This framework is in strict compliance with Article 7, subsection (c) of the Affogiato Declaration of Member Rights & Freedoms, which affirms that every employee has the right, in the event of disciplinary measures being taken against them, to appeal the decision and to be promptly informed of the outcomes.

Permanent Ban Appeal

If you have been permanently banned from any Affogiato game or the Discord server, you must wait a minimum period of six (6) months from the date of the ban before becoming eligible to submit an appeal. Upon the expiration of this period, you may contest the ban by initiating the appeal process.

To do so, you must contact a High Rank, preferably by creating a ticket in the official Discord server’s designated High Rank assistance system. However, if you are banned from the Discord server, it is your responsibility to find an alternative method to directly contact a High Rank.

When reaching out to a High Rank, your appeal must adhere to the following format:

  • Username
  • Location of the Ban (Specify the game or platform where the ban occurred)
  • Justification for Unbanning (Provide a clear and reasoned explanation as to why the ban should be lifted)

Only a minimal but valid justification is required for your appeal to be considered. However, while the general principle is to accept appeals, exceptions apply. If the reason provided fails to meet the minimum standard of validity or if you are a repeat offender with a history of similar infractions, a High Rank retains the discretion to deny your appeal and uphold the permanent ban.

Disciplinary Action Appeal

If you are subject to disciplinary action, you must wait a minimum period of six (6) months from the date the action was taken before becoming eligible to submit an appeal. However, this six-month period does not apply if you believe the disciplinary action is unfounded or contravenes one or more of your rights and freedoms as outlined in the Affogiato Declaration of Member Rights & Freedoms.

Below are the steps involved in the appeal process, from the receipt of a report or the identification of the infraction by a High Rank or higher authority, through to the final decision on the appeal. In certain cases, the appeal may escalate to the Chairman, President or Vice President for resolution.

Receipt of a Complaint or Identification of the Infraction

When a High Rank possesses evidence establishing, beyond any reasonable doubt, the commission of an infraction by an employee, they are obligated to make a reasonable effort to contact the individual concerned. Within Affogiato, a “reasonable effort” is defined as a single attempt to communicate via direct message on Discord. During this communication, the High Rank must present the alleged infraction and provide a reasonable timeframe for the individual to respond and offer a defense. Affogiato considers 24 hours to be a reasonable timeframe for such a response. Following this interaction, or if it is determined that obtaining the individual’s version of events is not reasonably possible, the High Rank shall make a determination based on their evaluation of all available evidence, observable facts, and the applicable provisions of Affogiato’s governing laws.

Disciplinary Action

Should the High Rank conclude, based on their evaluation of the evidence, that a disciplinary measure is warranted, they are required to document all supporting evidence and specify the provision(s) of Affogiato law that have been violated. High Ranks are not obligated to notify the individual of the disciplinary action; it is the individual’s responsibility to request details and justification for the measure if desired.

Request for Information Regarding the Disciplinary Action

You have the right to request access to the reasons for any disciplinary action taken against you and to review the evidence documented in the case file. Pursuant to Article 7 of the Affogiato Declaration of Member Rights & Freedoms, you are entitled:

  1. To be informed, upon request and without undue delay, of the rationale for the disciplinary measure imposed.
  2. To request and receive the evidence supporting the allegations promptly.

To exercise this right, you must contact a High Rank, preferably by creating a ticket through the designated High Rank assistance system on the official Discord server. If you are banned from the Discord server, you bear the responsibility of finding an alternative method to directly contact a High Rank.

Appeal

If six (6) months have elapsed since the disciplinary action, or if you believe the action is unfounded or violates your rights and freedoms under the Affogiato Declaration of Member Rights & Freedoms, you may initiate an appeal irrespective of the six-month waiting period.

Upon filing an appeal, a panel of three (3) individuals drawn from the Department of Internal Affairs, who are uninvolved in the original decision, will evaluate whether the High Rank who imposed the disciplinary measure acted appropriately. Where insufficient uninvolved Internal Affairs members are available to form a panel, the Board of Directors or any Super Rank may designate additional uninvolved General Managers or Board of Directors members to complete it.

  • If the panel unanimously agrees with the original decision, the appeal will be denied, and the disciplinary action will remain in effect without further recourse.
  • If unanimity is not achieved, the panel must deliberate to reach a majority decision (2 out of 3 members) on whether to annul or modify the disciplinary measure. However, the Board of Directors retains the authority to overturn the panel’s decision by majority vote. Once a final decision is made, the appellant will be notified accordingly.

Appeal to the Chairman, President or Vice President

Should you find the outcome of the initial appeal unsatisfactory, you may request a second and final appeal to the Chairman, President or Vice President. In such cases, the Chairman, President or Vice President will undertake a thorough review of the evidence, prior decisions, and procedural compliance.

Their analysis will focus on ensuring that:

  1. Your fundamental rights were upheld throughout the process.
  2. The procedures outlined in Affogiato’s governing framework were followed.

Upon conducting this preliminary assessment, the Chairman, President or Vice President may either:

  • Deny the appeal, in which case the decision from the initial appeal remains final and binding.
  • Accept the appeal for further review, indicating a need for deeper reflection.

In the latter scenario, the Chairman, President or Vice President’s role extends beyond mere fact-finding. It entails interpreting and applying Affogiato’s legal framework, balancing competing rights and interests, and upholding constitutional principles. Their decision not only resolves the specific case but also establishes binding precedents for future disciplinary actions, shaping Affogiato’s jurisprudential landscape. This underscores their mandate to ensure that justice is rendered through a lens of legal rigor and fidelity to Affogiato’s foundational principles.

Upon reaching a final decision, the Chairman, President or Vice President will document it in writing, and the decision will be made public to ensure transparency. This decision will be enshrined as jurisprudence, forming a binding precedent for future cases. As the highest authority within Affogiato, their decision is final, and no further appeals will be entertained. The individual involved will be formally informed of the Chairman, President or Vice President’s decision, which will conclusively resolve the matter.
