Even if governments convince them to do it, it’ll probably backfire and result in losing more money just like what’s going on right now.
I can guarantee this comment was paid for.

Guys, why are we still talking here? Roblox has already rejected removing age verification multiple times, although they should still modify it.
The first thing they should do is add a warning message (visible regardless of self-declared age, worldwide) when initiating the age check that people under 18 should not complete the process without asking their parent or guardian first as it involves their picture being taken.
Even though students of online courses or remote learning may be required to turn on their camera for academic integrity and/or similar reasons, parents are still ultimately responsible for deciding whether or not their child should stay off-camera whenever he or she is online.
Overused on a lot of basic features and makes the whole site completely pointless to use if you’re on Roblox Select, Though I can see roblox’s point on “protecting other users”, but predators can still lie about their age to get into any kids age based ranges to lure them offsite.

Do you think this Roblox age group update is bad?

I feel like this whole situation would be a little less controversial if this warning (shown in red text) was visible for all users: (images edited by me)
This won’t stop all younger users from completing facial age checks without consulting with their family first, but it could (try to) save the platform from future liability concerns. What do you guys think?

Clearly age groups are either not working or being bypassed. Despite being in the 21+ group I have historically (since the update) been able to hear in the in-game voice chat random users that seem to be under 16.
you can disconnect from the voice chat if you hear them on vc, those appear to be under 13 that you seem to hear to be under 13, i still do not like the age groups update,
