Age Review Glitched | No Age Review for 2 Months! Help!

I am the owner of two ROBLOX games (experience: 71676918026467) and (experience: 78250871360699)
Character Talk Simulator | Play on Roblox
Character AI: Futurisma | Play on Roblox

We recently had an issue with FilterStringAsync not being applied to custom text entry scripts due to a back-end coding bug which led to our games becoming restricted. We have now fixed this issue. We have added Roblox’s TextService:FilterStringAsync to all custom text-entry scripts in these experiences. Every field where a player can enter text, including custom-character creation, now filters that text through FilterStringAsync before it is displayed.

The updated questionnaire for these two experience has been sitting in pending review for thirteen days without a response and it is glitched in the queue. There is no support ticket category I can file this under and appeal tickets I do make get closed without any response.

Expected behavior

We want to have these two experiences questionnaires reviewed and approved.

@DevRelationsTeam Please take a look at this post

It looks like your questionnaire is live and your game is playable. What type of review are you looking for?

We are requesting to have the experiences reviewed for the new content maturity labels which are different from the old ones because we made changes to the game.

The current questionnaire isn’t live, it is still saying pending review but its been that for about 15 days now.

It looks like your maturity rating is live - it says “Maturity: Minimal”. The Ages 16+ is not your rating.

This is what it says on my end, that the age rating or questionnaire are pending review, but its been 16 days and no tickets have helped.

Hi @Caelestene one of my games has passed 500+ highly engaged players review few weeks ago, but today my game was moderated and appeal declined due to my game having “voting mechanisms where players compare each other free-form user creations” which is absolutely false.
How come the game passed 500+ moderation review, but after weeks of spending hundreds of cash on Sponsored Ads it suddenly became moderated for features which do not exist in the game?

A lot of money was spent for getting the game available to all ages audience and then promoting it. The game reached a peak of 3k CCU quickly and continued to stay stable around 1k-1.5k CCU. However now it is inaccessible and I’ve lost money due to Roblox moderation.

Ah, it’s not the age rating or questionnaire that is pending review, it’s your entire game that is still being reviewed, but I understand it’s been a long wait.

Yeah I guess.. I made tickets but they get nowhere. I have fixed the text filter on both games and they require review. Can you help us? It is preventing me from paying my developers :frowning:

Any updates? We still didn’t get any help, its going to be basically a month.. :sob:

I escalated your games internally again. There is active discussion on your games.

I understand, it can be discouraging to us to see other games such as the one below that allow romance categories and other even less restrictive compliance programming than ours but that are allowed to continue to remain public without age or maturity restrictions.

But I do understand that ROBLOX has a lot it is going through to comply with federal and state legislative changes across multiple countries.

Regardless, thank you so much for the response, it means the world.

Any updates? It has been a week and we haven’t received any updates. Close to 2 months without our games… :sob:

@Caelestene It has been nearly three weeks with no updates plus three weeks before that when we made tickets. Can we please know what is happening behind the scenes? :frowning:

Hi, I’ve been pinging the internal folks to make a decision on this. Just a lot of discussion on policy for these AI games.

Thank you @Caelestene this has been stressful for us as we have no direct line of communication to ROBLOX staff or get updates on this issue. Our games have extensive rules for the content of AI input/output, what can be uploaded, etc. in accordance with ROBLOX policy and common sense.

The loss of revenue has affected our ability to pay developers their standard rates expected rates unfortunately as well which is heart-breaking.

I do notice that other Standalone AI experiences in the same category of gameplay with far more CCU, lax filtering, and have consistently maintained the minimal age rating. This is disheartening because from a creator’s perspective it appears as unfair enforcement of the current published policy.

Would you possibly be able to give any time estimate when we can expect the age rating to be reviewed for the two experiences mentioned?

Good morning, it has been almost a week. Is there any update? @Caelestene

Good morning @Caelestene its been a month and a half since this issue began. There are still other games with a similar gameplay loop and 700+ CCU which are not enforced with the same policy.

Do we have any updates on whether our game age rating can be reviewed by ROBLOX? What conclusions has the discussion on policy for these AI games led to?

Thank you for all your efforts <3

Hi there, I’ve been bumping this question every week. Still no resolution - but once there is, I will let you know.
