idk how to describe this but sometimes when my chasing AI are near players, they get flung all over the place. the only thing im using for the AIs movement is SimplePath
It is probably network ownership, try setting network owner to nil in a loop every frame.

From my testing the client is eager to take ownership everytime it goes into contact with another physics object.

You could have welded server part to a part that is owned by a player already perhabs?
