For the past few days, my Script Editor autofill (where you click tab when a result shows up) has been replaced with AI. The thing is, this AI is not good at all. 80% of the time, it does the correct autofill but with the wrong capitalization, and you don’t realise until you test the game. Then another 19% of the time, it’s just completely wrong. For example, I was looking for a property that started with “M” and it autofilled with “.machine” when I saw the actual property.
Expected behavior
I expect the AI keybind to not override the autofill keybind.
Hi, thanks for reporting! We would love to hear more details about your use case! Do you have reproducible script or place file that can share with us through DM to investigate why it gives wrong suggestion?
Yes, I mean for above description, it should provide the correct suggestion with enough context.
We’re focusing on improving the quality of AI suggestions so they become the default choice for users, rather than relying on traditional autocomplete. The reproducible steps you shared are very valuable and will help us continue improving the quality of AI suggestions. We truly appreciate if you can take the time to provide this information!
Well, I don’t really want to give the place file but it is a Superpower game with a city map and I don’t know where it got “machine” (I don’t have a single instance manually named remotely close to mechanics) from. (game page Superpower City 💥 - Roblox )
We understand. If you happen to have any ideas or additional information that could help us improve suggestion quality, we would greatly appreciate it!
As for the Tab key, it is used to accept the AI suggestion, while the Enter key will accept the Autocomplete when both options are available.
We’re currently working on customizable key bindings for AI suggestions, so users will be able to adjust the shortcuts to their preference. Thank you for your patience, and sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime!
