For Roblox communities/games that frequently hosts events, it is too hard to efficiently post the events when only the community owner/holder has access to create events.
If there was a permission to allow a community role to also create events on the communities’ game, it would allow staff members/developers of the game to host events easier without the holder having to post it each time. Personally, it would be super beneficial in my community as staff members host multiple events throughout the week. It has become a large issue and nuisance. I’m sure my Roblox community isn’t alone in this issue.
Hey @Jezzie_Dev , if you go to Creator Hub and go to the group settings, you can create roles there that have “Create and configure experience events” permission. Does that work for your use case?
The caveat is you need to double-up the roles (separate from your www.roblox.com community roles). We’re working on combining the role/permission systems in early 2026 so that you don’t need to do this doubling-up.
I didn’t know this! I find the roles on the Creator Hub very confusing and unintuitive so I avoided using it. I am very happy to hear it’s possible. My bad for not realizing. Thanks Hooksmith
I wish there was a way to assign everyone in a community role to a role in the create page. I created a create page called “Staff” and I was hoping I could just put the various staff group roles into the staff create role. I can’t find a way to do this, so I had to manually put in 50+ people’s usernames.
I also don’t see why there’s two types of roles. I am glad they’re going to be combined in 2026.
I have an issue with this! I gave my staff permission to upload assets and create events. When they go to create an event, it gives them an error. it has been this way for a week. Any fix?
