Allow developers to set the release date of a game through the website

It’s been in alpha for less than a week. But users always look at the “Created” date to see when the game was released. It’s misleading to players, making them think the developers have been working lazily, when in fact we our working constantly.

I suggest that a new title is added: “Release date” and allow the developer to set the date. As well as allowing future dates for games that are not yet open to the public. Therefore informing players of the exact date in the future and allowing players to see the correct release date afterwards.

This isn’t exactly high priority, however I’ve had multiple cases of losing player’s respect because they become inpatient with progress, when in fact they are being mislead by their misinterpretation of the websites stats.

Also, feel free to reply with better ideas regarding this issue. Which overall could be summed up as Developer/Player relations being pretty poor on the website in its current state. Currently, most developers are resorting to social media websites like Twitter that 70%+ of ROBLOX’s audience can’t access because of their age. If you have any ideas, make a post on it so ROBLOX can hear us out.

Yes please, “Release Date” makes so much more sense than “Created”. No other game distribution site shows the date that development started.

There are lots of things ROBLOX could do to improve the game pages and adding a future release date section like on Steam would also be a welcome addition
