As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to disassociate yourself from old posts, since the platform doesn’t allow users to delete them. It would be very beneficial to have a feature that lets users anonymize themselves from specific posts they’ve made. This way, no useful resources are lost to the community.
This could work by replacing the original poster’s name with something like “Anonymous User” for that particular post and any replies made by the poster under said post.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my experience using the forum because it would allow me to manage my past content instead of being stuck with it. Many young developers make posts they later regret, and as they grow and mature, those old posts may no longer reflect who they are. Allowing users to anonymize past posts would help protect reputations while keeping useful content available.
