As A Developer I Am Unavailable To Chat With My Friends <18 Unless They Are Trusted,

I Understand Why you May Not Want A 9 Year Old To Talk To 22 Year Olds. But A Parent Of A <13 can only enable this with parental permission, Or… A 13+ User could enable a setting to be able to talk to anyone verified as your age and above only if your friends (connections) with them, this Setting Could Even Allow A Childs Or 13+ Users Friends to Chat With Them Regardless Of Age Group, For Example: you are a high schooler but your friends a elementary school but <9 they can enable the setting to keep chatting with their connections,

Since Trusted Connections Via Invite Links Is Coming On March 2026, Why Not Have It?

Privacy & Content Restrictions - Communication - other chat settings - setting: other chat: enable chatting with age groups or older only if your connections with, or friends with, if the user is <13 a parent can enable it, connections: on everyone: on, (hidden by default unless the user is 16+) fillters will still apply,

If you become a Trusted Connection with someone you trust you can communicate with them in Party Chat and Experience Chat or even Voice Chat.
