Teleporting out of your game would be a little too much user friction to me and like you mentionned, a pain to track
Anyone that would want to receive a donation would have to setup a game that expect the join data right?
That’s unfortunately too complicated to have the average user setup in my opinion but it does work for donating to the game devs that have it set up (which I assume is your use case)
Thankfully though, my game allows devs to simply pop in an easy to use module into their game, disabling/enabling features as they wish. For example, devs could use the module’s “DevLink” feature to send data either over HTTP or JoinData into Kickstart, which can be used to share game data directly inside Kickstart, aswell as automatically update things such as the Fundraiser bar, so there should be barely any friction at all for prospective devs. c:
At least remove (or make a much higher) limit for sending and receiving for 16+ / 18+ users.
If compromised / phished accounts are one of the reasons as to why higher limits aren’t an option, then higher transfer amounts should prompt the sender to enter their 2FA/Authenticator code.
AFAIK users can only send and receive 120K Robux a year (with the highest limits as of now); while it does seem like a lot to some, there are users like me who genuinely enjoy donating - and unfortunately these limits feel so restrictive, especially with that 30 day cooldown.
unrelated but the transfer API comes off so clunky in-game. You have to wait a bit between each transfer or else it’ll say you have connection issues and to try again later.
