Allow us to edit old portfolios

New update I noticed, I am no longer to edit older posts, particularly my portfolio I made in the portfolio section.

This is extremely vital, since I cannot make a new portfolio (a proper portfolio takes me hours to compile) every time I want to update a single example. My examples are rather outdated, and no longer accurately reflect my style or level of experience.
Also, my Discord tag is outdated, and my portfolio is marked as “closed” when I currently want to take in new clients.

In addition, it isn’t uncommon for a client to request I take down their commission from my portfolio, and I would be unable to do this now.

My current portfolio has a years worth of vouches on it, and it would be quite a loss if I wasn’t able to use them to my advantage any more.

If this is a mistake, please correct it asap since I depend on my portfolio to well…get work on roblox.

Well, I definitely agree with this. If they won’t implement this feature, then it’s best if you delete the post and remake again. Maybe they are making something big?

OFF TOPIC: Also, I think I’ve seen you before in a discord server.

Why delete it? Just reply with new information.

I agree. I wanted to update my portfolio and correct my information, and I can’t do it anymore. I don’t want to make new portfolios since I have it linked to multiple different sites and use it as my CV/resume for jobs.

This might also be an update related to the new marketplace website they mentioned at RDC. Still, I would like to have my info updated…

Replying with new information is extremely ineffective, I have around 50 or so vouches, and a person would have to scroll all the way down every time I wanted to demonstrate my current skill level.

Mark your new examples in a new reply as the solution to pin them to the top

I would have to make a new post every time my updated message gets too old.

Anyway, that’s a quick fix. Won’t be much help though, since my portfolio is currently marked as “closed.”

This change definitely won’t be permanent though; likely just an admin accidentally changed that setting while configuring other parts of the forum. I would give it a few days at most

Hey all, thanks for the feedback regarding this. This change was made in response to developers editing their old posts as a way to delete them, rather than requesting us to remove their posts. As this is causing issues I’ve reverted the change. We will continue to investigate ways to prevent this from happening while still allowing you to edit your old topics. Sorry about that!
