Allow users to hide previous usernames from public profiles

Previous usernames are currently visible to anyone viewing a profile.

I think users should have the option to hide them publicly while Roblox still keeps the full username history internally for moderation/security.

There are a lot of reasons someone may not want old usernames permanently attached to their public profile, especially if they contain outdated personal information or names they no longer want associated with the account.

This wouldn’t remove the history from Roblox, it would only make it private.

Seems like a pretty simple privacy option that should already exist.

you can remove previous names by request on roblox support, ive done it before. You still show up if someone searches for a previous name though

i think they changed the options from when i last used it, but this should be fine and then just tell them why you dont want the name visible

Yeah that didn’t work. They only allow past username removals if the username happens to contain your full first & last name. I was really hoping they finally got rid of this dumb policy.

I agree. They should add a feature that allows to remove or hide former names. idk why they dont add this feature until now. I really hope this feature gets added.
