Currently Roblox automatically determines a users location based on their IP address. This can sometimes be incorrect due to travel ISP routing or VPN usage. When this happens users may be placed in the wrong region and certain features or policies may not match their real location.
A possible improvement would be allowing users to submit a request to update their account location if the detected region is wrong. Roblox could require a verified phone number for example before allowing the request so the system is not abused. This would give users a way to correct mistakes while still keeping account security and verification in place.
edit: Roblox can also add a vpn detection for this feature.
Australians would abuse this so hard
100% will not be implemented, easy to abuse
im not sure why someone would do that its just the locations.
I think roblox could add a vpn detection for this i know thereβs very strong ones that are really blocking vpns

well i see your point. i still think vpn detection should be good enough for this i replied with the same to the other person
Regional prices, country bans, abusing other country laws, etc. make it pretty hard for Roblox to even want to take the risk of implementing this. On top of that, this would be work that would only actually help a few people with good intentions, but a lot more people with bad intentions, making it not something Roblox would waste their devsβ time on
